Here it is ... I leave tomorrow (7 Jan 2008) and I'll try to post as often as I can, depending on connectivity. I'm going to be a "Teacher Mentor." That is, I'm going to help teach Afghan teachers how to teach and develop the best curriculum for their cadets. Specifically, I'll be working with one or two Afghan physics instructors. I'll have an interpretor asssigned to me, but I hope to get the hang of some Dari. In the meantime, you can read this article to find out more about the National Military Academy of Afghanistan.

Hey Brent! "Fair winds and following seas," as we used to say in the Navy. Advising Afghani physics instructors... you used to daydream about it in high school, and now it's a reality!
